Hi-De-Hi !! A few words about me, Jon-SST.

I'm 36 years young now and getting younger by the day , mentally anyway ! I'm married to my darling Samantha and we have 3 lovely boys Joshua 7 , Oliver 6 and William 2 . We live in the hardcore capital of the world , Essex UK.

I've been properly into dance music since the 80's when I started listening to and buying Hip-Hop and moved onto Hip-House and Acid-House in 88/9 and then followed the traditional path through Techno and onto Hardcore when it started in 90/91.

It was during these early years that I first met up with the Frosty brothers and Mr Wizzard. We used to DJ together at home and go out together to some of the classic rave events at the time. This all lead me to meet my wife for the first time at the Roller Express in 1993.

After the music split 94, I followed down the Jungle / Drum and Bass path and continue buying D&B records to this day
(after a brief interlude of UK garage around 2000 but we wont mention that !!)

I got back into the oldskool hardcore scene in 2005 when I was searching online for a tracklist for an old Bukem studio mix that I love. I came across the website Hardscore.com and then the forum Backtotheoldskool.co.uk. From then on I was hooked again and I started filling in the missing tunes in my collection using the wonderful Discogs and Ebay.

It wasn't long before I was listening to the oldskool internet radio stations and met some really wicked people who persuaded me to do a show of my own. It was at this time also that I discovered the new genre of Hardcore Breaks, which I immediately fell in love with and started buying every tune I could lay my hands on.

In 2007 I was so excited by this new music that I released two 4 track EPs, SST001&2, with tracks by Bynon, Brainstormer, StuartJ and Wizzard. They are still on sale now
