background / biography
RenegadeGenius first got into electronic style music while playing old C64 & Amiga games from the 80s.
Those classic synth tracks sparked an early interest in electronic music, which developed fully in 1991 while at college, when hardcore music kicked off properly.
After 1993 when the music started changed to happy hardcore & jungle, he had to find alternate forms of dance music to listen to as those styles just didn’t appeal.
During 2000 while surfing the net, he came across the b2vos message board – dedicated to the ‘old skool’ sound….... as they say, the rest is history
